Answer: Six cats are needed.

From “Six cats can catch six mice in six minutes”, we can deduce that one cat can catch one mouse in six minutes. This means that one cat can catch ten mice in sixty minutes; therefore, six cats are required to catch 60 mice in sixty minutes.
